NOTA OFICIAL DO PSTU

• Os mais de 7 mil moradores da ocupação Pinheirinho, em Sao José dos Campos (SP), encontram-se, neste momento, sob ameaça de iminente ação policial para despejá-los do terreno que ocupam há cerca de sete anos. Depois de um acordo praticamente fechado, envolvendo os governos federal e estadual, para regularização da área e posse definitiva da terra aos moradores, foi expedida uma ordem judicial para que a Polícia Militar realize a desocupação da área.

Essa situação só foi possível por causa de uma ação criminosa da prefeitura do município, que protela, há meses, a emissão do documento que já poderia ter permitido a implementação do acordo feito entre o Ministério das Cidades do governo federal e a CDHU do governo do Estado e, também, pela decisão temerária, para não dizer irresponsável, da juíza de direito Márcia Faria Mathey Loureiro, que, mesmo sem embasamento legal, ordenou a desocupação. Não nos cabe especular sobre as razões pelas quais o prefeito Eduardo Cury (PSDB) e a juíza agem como estão agindo. Mas é preciso dizer com clareza que estão preparando um banho de sangue na cidade do Vale do Paraíba.

As mais de 1.500 famílias que habitam a ocupação gastaram todos os recursos de que dispunham e que conseguiram acumular nesse período para construir suas casas e organizar suas vidas nelas. Não vão deixar isso para trás sem sequer ter para onde ir. Vão resistir, vão lutar para defender o seu direito à moradia que a Constituição Federal diz ser direito de todos e obrigação do Estado. O Estado, contudo, está prestes a enviar as tropas da Polícia Militar justamente para expulsá-las de suas casas.

É a crônica de uma tragédia anunciada, cujo resultado será contado em número de mortos. Mais uma vez estamos prestes a assistir ao braço armado do Estado chacinar trabalhadores e pobres para defender os interesses dos ricos e poderosos (nesse caso, do megaespeculador Naji Nahas, proprietário de uma massa falida que diz ser proprietária do terreno em questão).

O PSTU conclama todas as organizações dos trabalhadores, todos os setores democráticos da nossa sociedade a se irmanar aos moradores do Pinheirinho nesse momento, apoiando a sua luta e buscando bloquear mais esta barbaridade que se prepara em nosso país.

Reclamamos ao governo do Estado de São Paulo alguns minutos de reflexão. O governador Alkmim, do PSDB, ainda pode evitar esta tragédia, pois ele é comandante em chefe da Polícia Militar e pode assegurar o tempo necessário para uma solução do impasse a fim de evitar o pior. Caso contrário, o governador paulista estará assumindo, junto com o prefeito e a juíza, a responsabilidade pela tragédia que se anuncia.

The PSTU calls on all workers' organizations, all sectors of our democratic society to fraternize with the locals Pinheirinho that time, supporting their struggle and trying to block this latest barbarity that is prepared in our country.
We complained to the state government of Sao Paulo a few minutes of reflection. The governor Alkmim, the PSDB, although you can avoid this tragedy, because he is commander in chief of the Military Police and can provide the time needed for a solution to the impasse in order to avoid the worst. Otherwise, the governor of São Paulo will be taking, along with the mayor and judge, the responsibility for the tragedy that is announced.
